From 2011 until around 2015 I had a pleasure to work at the European Space Research and Technology Centre (ESTEC) in Noordwijk, Netherlands. I was originally contracted as a maternity cover for their in-house Graphic Designer but continued doing small projects for them for while after my contract ended. This illustration series was made for a Traveling Space Expo that showcased the ESA satellites inside a truck in Sweden. (Avaruusrekka is a Swedish word for a "space lorry" or a "space truck"). The exhibition was primarily made for kids and these drawings were used as small icons to accompany the satellite models included in the expo.
They were originally free hand copic marker drawings on paper.
