South East London. Peckham and it’s crazy hectic Rye Lane full of nail and hair salons, food joints, dodgy mobile repair places, vape kiosks, bars, fruit and meat stands, charity shops, food halls and even a church. And wigs. Millions of wigs and hair extensions.
This random little experiment is inspired by the vibrance of the street (wigs and mannequin heads in particular) combined with the bright-colored pattern fabrics that can be found in textile shops all across the neighborhood. It is also a good practice for creating handmade animated backgrounds and laying ground work for other, more complicated animated material in the future.
